PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
The Georgia Society of
Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, established in May 1958, is a statewide association, with a
current membership of over 180 physicians, that strives to enhance the quality
of human life by supporting an environment in which dermatologists can provide
the highest quality of care.
The GSDDS provides representation
to the Medical Association of Georgia and the American Academy of Dermatology.
All Georgia dermatologists are
encouraged to be actively involved in GSDDS. We are open to your suggestions
and comments. If you are a dermatologist in Georgia and currently not a
member, we strongly urge you to
JOIN TODAY! There is strength in numbers and we need the support of all
active dermatologists to continue our efforts.
Enjoy
the website. Take your time and browse awhile. Let us hear from you
and how we can best meet your needs as a Georgia dermatologist.
If you are
interested in getting involved in the GSDDS please contact our office at the email
and numbers below.

The SCAN Foundation (Skin
Cancer Awareness Network) was founded in 2006 by
Marilyn Fry, a survivor of melanoma. Her mission is to use her
experience and second opportunity for life to educate members of the
community on the harmful effects of the sun, to help them avoid this
preventable disease, and to provide information on care options
treatment.
