Advocacy and Legislation

The Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery advocates for the practice and profession of dermatology and fights for quality patient care in Georgia.  Our advocacy work involves a variety of activities, including:
  • Representation in the Georgia General Assembly
  • Grassroots activities
  • Political Action Committee
The most effective way for physicians to influence the political process is to get involved!  Be educated and stay informed!  `
